What this is

Poivia matches products to professionals and delivers them by email. This page describes exactly what we collect, why, and what we deliberately do not collect.

Signing in with Google

We use Google Sign-In. Google gives us your email address, name and profile picture. We never receive your Google password, and we ask for no other access to your Google account.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

Subscribing takes two steps: you ask, and then you confirm from a link we email you. We store the moment you consented, the IP address it came from, the page you were on and the exact wording you agreed to. That record is append-only, because its purpose is to prove the consent was real.

To decide what to send you, we store the profile you fill in — your sector, the problems you care about and the tools you use — and a numeric representation of it used for matching. The language model that helps with matching sees opaque identifiers, never your email or your name.

What we deliberately do NOT measure

We do not track whether you open an email, and we do not count how many times a product was shown to you. Neither is stored, and neither is reported to the companies whose products we send.

This is a product decision, not an oversight. Open rates reward subject lines that bait; impressions reward volume. We report only things you chose to do: your explicit feedback, a click you made while signed in, and a demo you requested.

When you request a demo

Requesting a demo shares your information with that specific company. What they receive is limited and fixed: your name, your email, your sector, and the message you wrote. Nothing else about you is passed on, and nothing is shared with any company you did not ask.

Leaving

Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and your email client's own unsubscribe button works too. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

We keep a one-way cryptographic fingerprint of the address so that we can tell we must never write to it again, even if you later delete your account. We cannot read an address back out of that fingerprint.

• Resend — delivers our email, so it processes your address

• Cloudflare — serves the site and runs the matching
• Google — only for sign-in
